設立於西元1981年的宏奇泵浦以成為國際主要的高品質泵浦製造商為目標。製造與國際品牌齊名的多項泵浦產品、提供具競爭力的價格及完善的客戶服務團隊，並且將製造過程中可能對環境造成的衝擊一併考慮。
因為秉持不斷努力的信念，現今已成為首屈一指的國際泵浦製造商。成為臺灣一流泵浦製造商後，宏奇泵浦在民國89年已能立足於國際市場，藉由與國外泵浦製造商合作，同時也將泵浦銷售給國際泵浦裝配商與製造商。現今，我們的產品已在118多國銷售。
我們的客戶，包括國際知名泵浦製造商，皆以宏奇出產的泵浦作為他們產品。因此，儘管宏奇的品牌在泵浦業界外不被廣泛地認識，但在泵浦業界，宏奇被視為創新、可靠、能夠提供廣泛支援的深井泵浦製造商、供給商。 不斷擴張市場版圖及客戶和客戶端不斷成長的泵浦銷售量。這些都是宏奇提供高品質泵浦、具競爭力價格、卓越員工及售後服務貼近客戶需求的最佳證明。
藉著沉水泵浦的成功經驗，宏奇泵浦致力於發展高樓與工業用的立式離心式泵浦。
宏奇泵浦已有426多名員工，工廠規模超過86000平方公尺，預計仍會擴大廠房以符合不斷成長的市場產品需求。

| 1981 | Stairs industrial Co. Ltd, is established by Mr.S.C. Huang who began a small factory in Taipei, Taiwan producing and distributing submersible pumps as booster pumps for high rise buildings. |
| 1990 | Introduced submersible pumps for deep wells in Taiwan. |
| 1996 | Entered into technical support agreement with a leading Japanese submersible pump manufacturer. |
| 1997 | Introduced 4"stamped stainless steel submersible pumps. |
| 1997 | Stairs pumps entered into international market. |
| 2002 | Introduced 6"stamped stainless steel submersible pumps |
| 2003 | Completion of second factory |
| 2004 | Introduced 4"plastic (plastic impellers & diffusers) submersible pumps |
